Eastern Area Churches of the Presbytery of Cincinnati

Cherry Fork – Georgetown – Hillsboro – Mowrystown – Red Oak – Seaman – West Union – Winchester

Purpose:

To create opportunities for connection, education, and support for the greater ministry and mission of the Eastern Area churches.

To empower each of our EAC congregations toward fulfilling the great ends of the Church; preserving the reformed principles of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and its constitution.

We do this through prayerfully opening ourselves to the Holy Spirit performing unique, exciting and powerful wonders in our midst.  We are the Body of Christ seeking to bear witness to His redeeming love through lives lived together.

Mission:

“To joyfully worship and witness for Jesus Christ in our unique congregations and communities through shared Ministry and Mission.”

Our work includes sharing leadership and resources to support congregations in their programming, to expand the mission and witness of the Church throughout the Eastern Area, to be an advocate and communication link for the churches to the Presbytery of Cincinnati and other judicatories, to assist churches in leader training, and to encourage one another through prayer, worship and witness.
