Lisa Allgood – Executive Presbyter

Lisa spent 36 years as an executive in the pharmaceutical industry – and left her third retirement to serve the Presbytery of Cincinnati as Executive Presbyter.  An ordained Ruling Elder and commissioned pastor, she has served in many capacities on Sessions and for the Presbytery.

 Lisa currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Lilly Endowment. In addition, Lisa serves on several justice councils in Cincinnati as well as the Board of the Eddie Adams Photojournalism Workshop and Angel’s Castle. Globally, she consults with the Board of Sinapis, a Christian non-profit based in Kenya that works to break the cycle of poverty by equipping entrepreneurs in building their businesses within a Christian ethical framework.

Lisa is a trained immunocytochemist, and a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry NJ.

She has two daughters: one is a clinical psychologist in Long Island, and one teaches High School Chemistry and AP Environmental Science in North Carolina, where she is married with an adorable son.

When Lisa has a break from meetings she enjoys gardening, reading, hiking, traveling, and lots of photography.
