Lisa Allgood – Executive Presbyter

Lisa spent 36 years as an executive in the pharmaceutical industry. She left her third retirement to serve the Presbytery of Cincinnati as Executive Presbyter .

Lisa is an ordained Ruling Elder and completed CRE training. As such, she has served in many capacities on Sessions and for the Presbytery. 

Lisa serves on several justice councils in Cincinnati and sits on the Board of Women Helping Women, which works to break the cycle of gender-based violence in Cincinnati. Globally, she sits on the Board of Sinapis, which is a Christian non-profit based in Kenya. This organization works to break the cycle of poverty by equipping entrepreneurs in building their businesses within a Christian ethical framework.

Lisa is a trained immunocytochemist, and a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry NJ.

Lisa has two daughters. One is completing her doctorate in clinical psychology at Xavier University. And one is living in North Carolina, where she is married and teaches High School Chemistry and Environmental Science.

When Lisa has a break from meetings she enjoys gardening, reading, hiking, traveling, and photography.
