A Moment of Prayerful Zen – Rev. Dr. Edward Goode

Wednesday morning, I was at Winton Woods for my morning prayer walk with Scout and the lake was a bit flooded – as often happens after a big night of rain. One part of the path was just barely covered with water – about an inch or so. But it was shallow enough that it was fully clear and there was the slightest current moving the water along. Maybe today you need to simply stop and rest in God’s Spirit and let go. Maybe you need a moment to simply stop and let your heart and mind drift. Maybe you just need to see a cool short video of a leaf. Or maybe none of these.
