In the journey of faith, it is easy to get caught up in our own experiences, perspectives, and traditions. Yet, the call of the Gospel is clear: we are called to bring everyone along. This means not just inviting others into our church buildings, but embracing the full diversity of God’s beloved family of all ages, backgrounds, cultures, abilities, and walking forward together in love.
Why Inclusion Matters
The early church was a radical experiment in inclusion. Peter and Paul challenged cultural barriers, the Pharisees’ exclusivity, and the divisions that kept people apart. Today, we are called to continue that legacy. Inclusion is not just a buzzword—it is the very expression of Christ’s love. When we bring everyone along, we create a beloved community that reflects the breath and beauty of God’s Kingdom.
What Does Bringing Everyone Along Look Like?
Welcoming the Stranger – Making space for new people with warmth and hospitality, recognizing the gifts they bring.

Creating Access – Ensuring that our ministries, worship, and programs are accessible to all: physically, culturally, and spiritually.
Empowering All Generations – From children to elders, every person has a role to play in the life of the church.
Engaging in Shared Leadership – Encouraging diverse leadership and decision-making that reflects our community’s make.
Challenges and Blessings
Bringing everyone along is not always easy. It challenges our assumptions and pushes us beyond our comfort zones. But it is precisely through this challenge that we grow as individuals, as congregations, and as the body of Christ.
When we make room for all, we discover new gifts, fresh perspectives, and a deeper unity that transcends differences. This unity does not erase diversity but celebrates it as a sign of God’s creative work.
A Call to Action
As members of our Beloved Presbytery and the wider church, let us commit ourselves anew to bringing everyone along. Let us listen, welcome, and serve with open hearts. May our ministries be marked by inclusivity and grace, reflecting the boundless love of Jesus the Christ.
Together, let us build a church where everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered to thrive because the journey of faith is meant for all.
